About the Role
A Field Service Technician will be tasked with primarily local jobs that require someone with the particular set of skills of investigating, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in automation equipment and building circuits. He/She will be responsible for communicating and coordinating with customers and reporting back to the Field Service Manager. A Field Service Technician will be proficient with all hand tools and electrical testing equipment, and will have extensive knowledge in the field of electrical controls, including control panel wiring, wiring standards & NEC, component specification, and diagnostics, along with conduit bending and installation. He/She will be capable of reading, understanding and applying all types of documentation, such as building layouts, schematics, and component user manuals. This person will also have the responsibility of tracking and reporting project expenses and maintaining and storing project specifics.
