Electrical Design and Motor Control, Inc.

exceeding our customer's expectations

NBI is a Bottling Plant in West Sacramento. Project completed 12-31-2009

Electrical Design and Motor Control, Inc. was selected by NBI to completely renovated their entire bottling operation. EDMCI was responsible for demolition of the current electrical panels, conveyor controls, transformers and other related equipment. NBI not only took out their entire conveyor and bottling equipment but even the concrete floor itself to prepare for a completely new bottling operation.

Electrical Design and Motor Control Inc. hired Arthur Engineering to complete the electrical system grid including a new 4000 amp PGE Meter, four 800 amp sub panels, 25 control panels and thousands and thousands of electrical controls. EDMCI appplied for the permits, attended all the progress meetings and completely installed all the electrical devices for the project.

Electrical Design and Motor Control's installation employees are California certified electricians who installed the entire electrical system. Many miles of wire, stainless steel conduits, rigid galvanized conduits and EMT conduits were used. Our technicians mount and route all the conduits with the maintenance personel in mind. We want the conduits to be strong, out of the way and impecably neat to look at.

HPH is a Milk Plant in Sacramento. Project completed 12-31-2009

Electrical Design and Motor Control Inc. designed then built the UL control panels, installed all the electrical devices and wiring, then programmed the PLC's and debugged the system on time and in budget. The pallet conveyor posed a special space mounting problem in which we solved by installing a wireway system in which carrys all the power and controls wiring back to each of the panels. The customer, especially the maintenance staff was very please with this approach.
Electrical Design and Motor Control Inc. listened to what HPH required for their design scheme. We then provided shop drawings for their approval containing parts to be used, layouts, programming blocks and a sequence of operation. After complete review on paper we provided the exact expectation in real form. As you can see the panels we build are second to none in the industry. EDMCI has 25 years of experience in providing the highest quality UL labeled panels.
Electrical Design and Motor Control Inc. could mount conduits with one hole straps on the legs of conveyor or down closer to the ground to speed up the installation. But why? We are in this business for the long haul. We take pride in each piece of conduit that is placed. We care how it looks, how it is protected from damage and how it is clear for future maintenance.
